Lord, you probe me and know me…” You take time to love me like a mother knows her newborn. She studies her child, she loves her child. Watching the movements and listening to the sounds of her child delight her. Playing with her little one and seeing the baby’s reactions thrill her.
“Señor tú me sondeas y me conoces….”. Tu tomas tiempo para amarme como una madre conoce a su recién nacido. Ella estudia su hijo, ella ama su hijo. Observando los movimientos y escuchando los sonidos de su hijo se deleita.. Jugando con su pequeño y mirando las reacciones del bebé se emociona.
“You understand my thoughts from afar… my journeys and rest… you are familiar.” You alone my God, know what’s in my heart. In fact, you understand me better than I understand myself. No matter what I’m thinking you are loving me, guiding me. Lord, you watch me with tender care and concern.
“Tu entiendes mis pensamientos desde lejos… mis jornadas y descanso… te parecen familiares”_Solo tu mi Dios, sabes lo que estó en mi Corazon. De hecho, tu me entiendes major que yo me entiendo a mi mismo/a. No importa lo que esté pensando tu me estás amando y guiando. Señor tú me cuidas con amor tierno y cuidado.
“You rest your (gentle) hand upon me.” Comforting me; offering me strength, courage, love, and support saying, it’s okay. I am with you. I’ll never leave you. You are mine. I claim you for myself.
“Tu pones tu amable mano sobre mí”. Confortóndome, ofreciéndome Fortaleza, valor, amor y apoyo diciendome: está bien. Yo estoy contigo. Yo nunca te dejaré. Tu eres mio/a. Yo te reclamo como mio/a
“Where can I go from your spirit? From your presence where can I flee?” You are there in the thick and thin of it. You hover over me like a mother bird protecting her child. You tell me don’t be afraid of the dark, the chaos, the muck of life – because you belong to me: and I am with you always.
“Adonde puedo huir de tu espíritu? A donde huiré de tu presencia?. Aqui tu estas en lo fácil y en lo difícil. Tu me proteges como una madre cubre a sus polluelos. Me dices que no me preocupe de la obscured, el caos, las dificultades de la vida porque tu me perteneces: yo estoy contigo siempre.
Precious Lord, you are watching over me. You put people in my path, you give me sunlight and laughter and showers and dew. “Surely darkness will not hide me.” Nothing is out of your sight.
Precioso Señor, tu me estás vigilando. Tu pones personas en mi camino, me das la luz del sol y las sonrisas, asi como las lluvias y el rocío. “Ciertamente lo oscuro no me dará miedo”. Nada está fuera de tu vista.
“Truly you have formed me, my innermost being.” Thank you God for the gift of myself; thank you for the way you created me. Help me appreciate myself more and more. Help me love myself as you love me. Thank you again for your gift, your creation, your treasure, you’re caring for me. Amen.
“Verdaderamente tu me has formado, eres lo mas profundo de mi”. Gracias Señor por el don de mi mismo/a; gracias por la forma en que me creaste. Ayudame a apreciarme a mi mas y mas. Ayudame a amarme a mi mismo como tu me amas. Gracias de Nuevo por tu don, tu creación, tu Tesoro, tu me estós protegiendo. Amén.
